Shelter Me! Party in the Park 2019
Meet the community and learn about homelessness at this fun family friendly event. Live entertainment, bouncy castles, kids games and more! Volunteers from the Lethbridge Amnesty International Action Circle will be at the face-painting station and at a booth to learn more about Amnesty International.

Location: Galt Gardens - 3rd Avenue and 7th Street South
Food: Hot dogs, chips and pop for $1
Shelter Me! Party in the Park is a family fun event, with the main message of encouraging inclusiveness in the Galt Gardens Park. It is an opportunity for all community members to come together and learn more about homelessness and issues around homelessness (addiction, poverty, housing availability, mental health, etc). We offer many family friendly activities, as well as live entertainment and an opportunity to learn from local agencies about resources provided to people who live in homelessness, as well as other resources available to individuals and families in our community! The entire event is FREE of charge, with exception to a concession that will be serving hot dogs, chips, and pop for $1 each.
This event is organized by McMan Lethbridge, and graciously supported and sponsored by City of Lethbridge - Heart of Our City. Amnesty Lethbridge will also be supporting us with the face painting station, and have been supporters of our event since the beginning!
