2019 Appeals:

In 2019, we are focusing on courageous young people under the age of 25 who are a leading force for change. We're throwing our collective power behind the children and young people who are taking on some of the world’s biggest crises. One of the 10 global cases is right here in Canada, of youth from Asubpeeschoseewagong (“Grassy Narrows First Nation”) who are fighting for justice in the face of 50 years of mercury poisoning in their community. Join us again this year to help bring international attention and solidarity to the youth of Grassy Narrows, and all 10 global cases. We know that together we can make a real difference in people’s lives. Last December we sent more than 5.9 million messages in support of women human rights defenders, and they told us how much it meant to them.
